In data de 25 februarie 2012 are loc meciul din Serie A din Italia, dintre echipa gazda AC Milan care o intalneste pe stadionul Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (Milano) pe echipa Juventus. Lovitura de start se va da la ora 21:45. AC Milan este o echipa care in ultimele sale 6 meciuri jucate la ei acasa a obtinut 4 victorii, cea mai buna victorie find impotriva celor de la Cagliari 3-0 , a mai facut un egal cu cei de la Napoli 0-0 si a suferit o singura infrangere cu cei de la Juventul 1-2 in cupa, deci am putea spune ca AC Milan nu este o echipa care pierde meciurile de acasa asa de usor. Juventus este o echipa care cand vine vorba de jucatul in deplasare nu pierde nici un meci, acest lucru se vede foarte bine in ultimele sale 6 partide jucate in deplasare ei obtinand 4 victorii si facand 2 egaluri. Acest meci are ca scop clasarea lui Juventus pe locul 1, darn u prea cred ca AC Milan isi va lasa locul de izbeliste.

Derbiul Italiei cunoaste partea a treia din acest sezon dupa intalnirile din tur si din Cupa, ambele incheiate cu victoria lui Juventus. Pretendentele la titlu pierd greu in acest sezon; Milan are o singura infrangere pe San Siro (7 victorii si 3 egaluri) in timp ce Juventus e neinvinsa (in deplasare 5 victorii si 6 egaluri). Pe San Siro, Milan a primit doar 5 goluri in 11 meciuri, in deplasare, Juventus a primit doar 6 in tot atatea meciuri. 13 din ultimele 15 deplasari ale Batranei Doamne au produs pe tabela sub 3 goluri. Milan a pierdut un singur meci acasa din ultimele 21. Pe San Siro, Milan n-a luat gol in 5 din ultimele 6 meciuri. In deplasare, Juve n-a primit gol in ultimele 4 meciuri.
